How to Fix QuickBooks Error H202

If you are facing QuickBooks Error H202 , it means your QuickBooks Desktop is having trouble connecting to the company file in multi-user mode. Here are the steps to fix it:
Verify hosting settings:
Go to File > Utilities.
Ensure that only the server is hosting multi-user access.
Use QuickBooks Database Server Manager:
Open it on the server.
Click Start Scan to configure the firewall.
Check network connectivity:
Open the command prompt.
Type ping [ServerName] to test the connection.

Configure firewall settings:
Open Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Advanced Settings.
Create inbound and outbound rules for QuickBooks Error Code H202 ports (8019, 56728, 55378-55382).

Edit the Windows Hosts File:
Add the server’s IP address and name to the host file.
